I can sort animals into their own habitats.  It was easy because I know about animals because we have learnt about them in my class.

I learnt to measure all of these things.
It was tricky to find cm and mm. because they are quite small on the ruler.
Now I need to keep practising measuring things to get better at it.

 I am learning about measurement. We have been using non-standard units to measure things. We use feet, cubes, paperclips, hands.

Matariki stars

I was leaning to make Matariki stars. Miss lister cut the plastic plate out in to small lines around the plate. Next I was weaving with wool to make a wool star  I used different colours on my star.

It was easy to add numbers together because I know more then adding.

Editing capital letters

I was leaning to Edit the missing capital letters .
I know after a fullstop their is a capital letter. I can see what is wrong in this task. I learnt how to do capital letters in my writing. It was easy to do.

I was leaning to use place value with 3 digit numbers. I learnt to match the hundreds tens and ones. it was easy to do this math thing because I was listing really good and thats how I think it was easy.

IALT make inferences.

I am leaning to make inferences and a guess using the clues. It was tricky to think about inferences because this is my first time doing inferences.

Welcome to my year 4 learning blog. This year I am in room 12 with my teacher is Miss Lister.
